For more information, visit our website, or connect with us on LinkedIn The Territory Manager’s key responsibilities include developing new prospects and interacting with existing customers to increase sales of the organization’s Industrial Can Liners product line. This position is a field sales position that requires interfacing with customer contacts at multiple levels in Purchasing, Product Development, Operations, Quality and Marketing at both the distribution and end-user level. The candidate will be located in the Grand Rapids or Detroit MI area. Responsibilities Develop new business and increased profitability within the region by driving organic growth,Develop plan to execute strategy that provides sustainable organic growth while maintaining vital links to each respective Berry DivisionEnsure that Berry’s total offerings, products and services, are represented in a unified manner to deliver the One Berry approachSuccessfully identify solutions Berry can provide to enable broad account relationships at the mid to high levels while spreading throughout the functional areas of each organizationAbility to drive business on a regional / national basis where applicable, travel as neededImplementation and support of robust commercial processes (CRM) to provide transparency and enable effective communicationIdentify, collaborate and develop key internal resources (Product Management and Commercialization) as required to achieve customer growth goalsAlign key Berry resource personnel with their customer counterparts to develop deep customer relationships Qualifications Requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree or its equivalent with 3-5 years of experience in the broadline foodservice, janitorial/sanitary supply or in a related area in distribution or manufacturing.Minimum 3-5 years of progressive and successful Sales experienceExcellent communication and presentation skills with ability to work cross-functionally to drive business solutionsSolid relationship building focusSelf-starter that is results orientedProficient computer and organizational skillsAbility to learn new products and technologiesEffective analytical and problem-solving mindsetStrong negotiation and business skill setsUp to 50% travel
