Corgan is actively recruiting a knowledgeable Senior level Terminal Planner to join the firm as part of our Aviation Sector. Tackle these responsibilities alongside a team of creative, highly motivated individuals who are passionate about their work and ready to collaborate to achieve outstanding results. Responsibilities Knowledge of current aviation industry regulations pertaining to airport terminal planningFamiliarity with all terminal, landside and airside components and possess recent experience as a key contributor on terminal facility planning design, phasing and implementation projectsCoordinates and monitors production, schedules and budgets for assigned projects and staff to ensure delivery of a high-quality product in time, on budget and in accordance with the contractDevelops, reviews and oversees project plans and assignments by identifying and managing staff required to accomplish assigned tasksAssists Aviation Planning Director with defining problems and recommending viable solutions to Market SectorProvides technical leadership and written recommendations on Aviation planning studies to project teamDevelops conceptual layouts, exhibits, presentations and descriptive reports in the context of airport master plans, airport planning studies, feasibility studies, project books and project reports as requestedSupports development of Aviation planning studies in diverse geographical and cultural environmentsResearches and builds working knowledge of existing and future trends in the Aviation industryCompiles and analyzes data and prepares documentation for feasibility studies, environmental assessments, airport alternative analyses, integrated noise models, land acquisition, capital improvement plans, benefit cost analyses, and creation of airport layout plan drawing sets as directedExecutes project directives, outlines, projections, schedules and strategies over the course of the projectProduces major components of a thorough set of project documentationExecutes coordination and integration of architectural and consultant documentsGrasps key issues quickly and develops credibility with consulting experts as a respected technical professionalOversees consultant relationships related to Aviation planning projectsLeads project team regarding design and technical ideas and facilitates appropriate resolution of problems and challengesDevelops effective project directives, outlines, projections, schedules and strategies over the course of the projectDemonstrates, shares and applies knowledge of construction methods and timelinesDemonstrates, shares and appropriately applies, new methodologies, practices, codes and productsSeeks progressively more responsible assignments involving airport terminal planning, facility requirements analysis, conceptual design, and systems integration including baggage handling, passenger boarding bridges, aircraft parking layouts, and other related terminal systems

 

Qualifications Candidates must have a professional degree in aviation planning, architecture, engineering or another aviation-related degree8 to 20 years of experience in the aviation field with recent terminal planning assignments Comfortable working in a collaborative environment with project teams to ensure delivery of high-quality project deliverablesCandidates should be proficient with AutoCAD, Word, Excel, and other graphics related programs. Adobe Creative Suite, SketchUp or other 3-D modeling programs is a plusMust be able to travelFront-end client interface (adept at building and maintaining relationships with clients and consultants) requiredTeam-oriented, highly-motivated individualMust be able to travel

Base Salary Range: $95,000 - $125,000 annually – Los Angeles and New York locations only

The estimate range represents the general base salary range of candidates hired in Los Angeles or New York only. Factors that may be used to determine your actual salary may include internal equity, experience, education, specialty, and training. In addition, base salary is not inclusive of total compensation.
