OverviewThis is a temporary position expecting to last 6 months with the possibility of an extension or conversion to permanent employment. We seek a skilled Microsoft 365 System Administrator to join our Managed Service Provider team. The ideal candidate will help manage, maintain, optimize, support requests, and provide SME-level knowledge of SharePoint, Power Platform, and ITSM administration.
The division of Information Technology Services is currently seeking a talented individual to fill the role of IT System Administrator. The System Administrator’s role will span from duties within SharePoint (O365 tenant and intranet sites), assisting in ITSM levels of Support and development to being part of the Power Platform team projects. The candidate must have solid hands-on administration and configuration skills with Office 365 tools including SharePoint and the ability to handle first-level user support/training requests, and experience designing advanced reports and dashboards. The System Administrator will work closely with members of the Web Services Application Development team and others within ITS.
Responsibilities
Platform Administration
Monitor and manage SharePoint Online services, including permissions, compliance, and access controls. Working knowledge of SharePoint Online/OneDrive/O365 environment administration and programming advanced Web Parts. Work closely with ITSM administrators to perform development and admin activities.
Governance & Compliance
Implement and enforce governance policies, including permissions management, site provisioning, and compliance standards. Support audits, compliance initiatives, and risk assessments related to SharePoint data governance.
User Support & Training
Provide and collaborate with SharePoint-related incidents and service requests. Collaborate with business units to support user training and improve adoption. Develop and maintain documentation on SharePoint Online configurations, policies, and procedures.
Integration & Enhancements
Co-Manage integration with Microsoft 365 services such as OneDrive, Teams, Power Automate, and Power BI. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Hard Skills
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent combination of experience/training within IT management 2 to 4 years’ Experience with: Power Automate and BI Advanced Web Parts (programming, scripting) PowerShell is a big plus Information technology or IT Service Management/Customer Experience
Technical Skills:
Strong knowledge of SharePoint Online, administration, and best practices. Experience with Microsoft 365 and associated services, including: Teams OneDrive Familiarity with PowerShell scripting for automation and administrative tasks. Good understanding working within an ITSM working environment and administration. At IGT, we consider a wide range of factors in determining compensation, including background, skills, experience, and work location. These factors can cause your compensation to vary. The estimated starting compensation range is $55,631 - $98,467. The actual pay offered may end up being higher or lower. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.
Base pay is only one part of our Total Rewards program. Sales roles may be eligible for commission payments, while other roles are eligible for discretionary bonuses .
