Posting Summary Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Temporary Research Assistant for NJMS- Microbiology, Biochemistry & Molecular Genetics. The purpose of this position is to provide cellular, genetic, molecular, and biochemical support at Dr. Sugimoto’s lab.
Among the key duties of this position are the following: Performs laboratory research requiring analysis of yeast cells and mammalian and application of standard cellular, molecular, biochemical, and genetic procedures Maintains necessary lab records, databases, and files as hard copies and computer files. Does serial dilutions of biological organisms to assess numbers. Maintains and manages lab supplies Follows protocols to conduct basic molecular genetic and cell biology experiments Position Status Part Time Hours Per Week Daily Work Shift Day Work Arrangement FLSA Nonexempt Grade 99H Position Salary $16 per hour-$25 per hour Annual Minimum Salary 00.00 Annual Mid Range Salary 0.00 Annual Maximum Salary 0.00 Standard Hours 35.00 Union Description Hourly Employees Payroll Designation PeopleSoft Benefits Rutgers offers a comprehensive benefit program to eligible employees.
