Job Summary:
The Temporary Program Assistant provides administrative and programmatic support to the Academic Director and to the Executive Director of Harris Policy Labs, the Harris School’s experiential learning program.
Responsibilities:
Assist with program application intake, review, and tracking, and assist with student communication related to same.
Create and update program databases, program files, and program materials.
Assist with additional administrative and operational duties as needed.
Additional Requirements
Education, Experience or Certifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree required.
Experience:
1-2 years professional experience in project management and/or program support required.
Proficiency with MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
Strong writing skills required.
Basic data analysis skills required.
Experience working independently as well as collaboratively required.
Experience with Box.com and/or Qualtrics preferred.
Experience in higher education, including with systems and systems support, and with graduate student and faculty interaction preferred.
Familiarity with University of Chicago(preferred.
Working Conditions:
In-office with occasional option for remote.
