Fluidra is looking for a Temporary Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Carlsbad, CA. WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for the accurate recording and payment of accounts payable invoices. He/she Interfaces with vendors and internal customers timely as to the status of invoices and their payment. Additionally, you will: Checks for proper signature authorization on non-purchase order payments Prepares invoice deduction notices, as necessary Matches invoices to receipt records and purchase orders in a three-way match to ensure accurate payment Enters invoices into Oracle ERP system Answers assigned vendor and internal customer inquiries regarding payment Review Invoice on hold report Interfaces with internal customers to resolve receiving or purchase order pricing discrepancies, obtaining proper approval prior to payment Assist with month end closing Analyzes vendor accounts and negotiates extended terms with vendors Initiate ACH and Check payments and upload to bank and reconcile with weekly and monthly payment register Perform voids and reissue of check payments when necessary Prepares paperwork to update vendor records as required Prints accounts payable reports and maintains all accounts payable files Assists in pulling documents related to audits Codes expense related non-purchase order invoices to proper general ledger accounts Reconciles vendor statements to payable and accrual records Provide participation and input in testing with IT department on software and departmental streamlining improvements Assists with special projects, as necessary Maintains files for accounts payable WHAT WE SEEK 2+ years of relevant work experience in an accounts payable department Oracle ERP experience Proven track record of vouching and researching discrepancies of invoices in a timely manner Ability to work in a fast-paced environment Familiarity with public company internal controls environment Strong organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Professional business acumen Strong written and verbal communication skills Familiar with a variety of multiple locations and shared services business concepts, best practices and procedures Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and PowerPoint Fast and accurate data entry skills EDUCATION High School Diploma or equivalent WHAT WE OFFER An exciting opportunity to dive in and begin your career with a company that offers a competitive total rewards package that includes:Paid Holidays On-site self-service café / free gourmet coffee stations Company sponsored FUN events!WHO WE AREFluidra is a publicly listed company focused on developing innovative products, services and IoT solutions for the residential, commercial and wellness pool markets, globally.
