Summary
Creates, analyzes and supports clinician scheduling templates and scheduling configuration to maximize patient access for assigned operational units. Provides support to operations on template implementation and configuration. Assures that clinician schedules are generated/modified efficiently and in a timely manner. In partnership with operation and IT&I, provides analysis, testing, documentation, problem resolution and implementation of solutions as they apply to scheduling within the organization.

Job DutiesOptimizes template design and build through analysis of clinician capacity and utilization statistics. Contributes knowledge of template design for strategic access initiatives and to ensure organizational access goals are achieved. Provides consultative support on slot utilization, optimizing templates across multiple departments. Provides consultative support on business requirements for new initiatives template and related maintenance. Responsible for implementation of all requests for building and maintaining assigned clinician schedules across multiple departments. Analyzes template structure for accuracy, appropriateness, and validity prior to releasing the templates. Analyzes workflows and offers suggestions/solutions. Understands integration with other applications and can offer feedback. Proactively meets with and creates partnership with operations leadership to coordinate optimal template designs, ensure appropriate maintenance and answer questions and solutions including system template standards. Initiates and leads process using change management and process improvement strategies. Works closely with the patient engagement center leadership assigned to each department assuring that template and cadence build are appropriately incorporated into scheduling standard work.
Minimum QualificationsHigh School Diploma/GED 3 years relevant healthcare experience with template build and scheduling Demonstrates astute critical thinking skills. Proficient in EMR (EPIC) registrations, scheduling, cadence
