General Insurance is a leading provider of insurance products and services for commercial and personal insurance customers. It includes one of the world’s most far-reaching property casualty networks. General Insurance offers a broad range of products to customers through a diversified, multichannel distribution network.

The Accounting department constitutes an important area of the company, actually key, given the accumulation of local responsibilities towards the Insurance regulator and the various AIG agencies to which periodic information on the local operation must be provided.

The department is also the originator of the accounting figures that will support the necessary reports for the preparation of the taxes that must be reported to the local authorities, which means enormous importance from the perspective of providing reliable figures that avoid fines and other sanctions that would cause financial losses affecting the cash flow.

Interaction with the rest of the company is also very necessary to provide timely responses for payments, financial information and delivery of requirements to internal and external auditors and the Insurance regulator that validate the Company's good accounting practices and adherence to regulation as well as AIG's corporate policies

The Accounting department also includes the responsibility of collecting and providing financial information in a timely and accurate manner to the Board of Directors of C.A. American International Insurance for Decision Making.

How you will create an impact

The Accounting Analyst may require knowledge of the Insurance Financial Statements, bank accounts reconciliations  and reports for contributing in the correct flowing of all tasks on charge of the accounting Department

The employee will handle all topics related to local as well as maybe some of the USGAAP and continue contributing with the Local Accounting Coordinator in.

Support in treasury payment processes: payment documentation, filing and classification.Support in updating the different management assistants: payments in Bs and USD, exchange operations.Verification of the effective execution of payments in local and foreign currency.Responsible for documenting the update forms of the different banks.Responsible for accounting processes and account analysis.Responsible for updating the exchange rate in the SISE system and in the historicalcurrency report.Booking into SISE system of the accounting entries of the payments made

What you’ll need to succeed

Bachelor’s degree in accounting with at least some experience in Accounting in local Insurance companies Capacity to work under pressure environment.English is not required but would represent a plusSkills in Windows Office (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook),Teamwork, responsibility.Having completed the theory in Inces.
