Description We are offering a position for a Teller in the banking sector, situated in Charleston, South Carolina, 29407, United States. This role presents a contract to permanent employment opportunity, with a focus on customer service, account management, and financial transactions. Responsibilities: • Efficiently and accurately manage cash transactions. • Carry out the task of setting up new accounts for customers. • Process customer's check cashing requests accurately. • Handle customer inquiries, delivering prompt and excellent service. • Ensure precise processing of customer withdrawals. • Validate and process deposit transactions. • Utilize Microsoft Excel to maintain and update customer records. • Oversee customer accounts, taking appropriate actions when necessary. • Keep a balanced cash drawer. Requirements • Proficiency in handling cash balance, ensuring accuracy and security at all times. • Demonstrated experience in managing cash deposits and withdrawals, maintaining a record of transactions. • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, comfortable in creating spreadsheets and performing basic data analysis. • Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field preferred. • Excellent customer service skills to handle client inquiries and complaints effectively. • Strong numeric skills and attention to detail for precise cash handling and transactions. • Familiarity with the banking industry's regulations and guidelines. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently. • Strong verbal and written communication skills for clear and concise interaction with customers. • Flexibility to work during bank operating hours, including weekends.
