Overview Colliers Engineering & Design is seeking a Project Engineer to join our Telecom team in Connecticut! Responsibilities + Independently prepare and/or review traditional mount and tower analyses and modification designs. + Prepare and/or review complex telecommunication structure analyses and modification designs with limited guidance. + Provide technical guidance to engineering designers, technicians, and administrative staff. + Prepare or review scopes of work and budgets, and schedule assignments. + Proficient in building analysis and evaluations. + Perform field investigations/site visits, as needed. + Provide technical support for specific delegated tasks. + Perform Engineer of Record duties for structural telecommunication projects in multiple states. Qualifications + Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering is required. + 5+ years of related engineering experience is required. Telecommunications structural engineering experience highly preferred. + PE license required; SE licensure a plus. + Proficient with RISA 3D, tnxTower, and other structural analysis software as applicable. + Ability to learn and apply technical skills and knowledge. + Demonstrate extensive, diversified, and complex knowledge of engineering concepts, theories, principles and practices. + Demonstrate advanced investigative, analytical and research skills. + Demonstrate advanced technical and nontechnical writing, editing and proofreading skills. + Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
