**What is it that we do at Colonial Pipeline Company?**
Colonial Pipeline is the largest refined products pipeline in the United States, transporting more than 100 million gallons or 2.5 million barrels per day. Colonial transports various grades of gasoline, diesel fuel, home heating oil, jet fuel, and fuels for the U.S. military through a pipeline system. Colonial transports approximately 45 percent of all fuel consumed on the East Coast, providing refined products to more than 50 million Americans.
**About the Technology Project Manager Position**
As the Technology Project Manager, is a certified professional responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects within the Technology Organization. The Project Manager ensures consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals. The Technology Project Manager plans, executes and delivers all Technology projects on time, on budget and within scope in accordance with business priorities. Throughout the lifecycle of each project, the Project Manager tracks project status and manages project teams to mitigate issues and risks.
**What You Get to Do:**
+ Support and coordinate with the various technical teams to better manage project defined schedule, scope, budget, and key performance indicators (KPI’s).
+ Responsible for the success of all Technology projects assigned in the portfolio.
+ Directs large-scale, complex projects that may involve multiple internal and external stakeholders.
+ Defines project scope, goals and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
+ Defines, creates, and executes project plans for project prioritization, resource requirements and implementation.
+ Identify roles and responsibilities within the project, ensure resource availability and allocation and identify services to be provided by external companies.
**What You Bring to the Table:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business from an accredited college or university; will consider a combination of experience and/or education.
+ Ideally, 6 years of project management experience.
+ Experience working on projects and portfolio management tools.
+ Proven work experience as a Project Manager in the technology sector.
+ Experience keeping projects and programs aligned with overall business strategy and effectively delivering on commitments.
+ Proven experience communicating and presenting to Executives and Waterfall and Agile methodology experience.
+ PMP/Six Sigma or other Project Management Certification
+ Experience with procurement processes including Requests for Proposals and Statements of Work.
+ Commitment to consistently adhere to policies and procedures and be a positive example for others by demonstrating the Company’s core values of Respect, Accountability, Innovation, Safety, and Excellence in completing work assignments.
