JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

Greystar Digital Technologies (GDT) is revolutionizing the real estate shopping, leasing and living experience for our residents. We are building a software platform designed to improve our customers’ apartment shopping journey and enabling business intelligence and AI to help us develop personalized experiences for our residents.

About the role:

We are building and scaling the largest resident-centric ecosystem of experiences to make finding, renting and living in an apartment a delight. With the largest network of apartments in the world, you’ll have access to the resources to build the products and experiences that will define this evolution.

In this role, you will help with product roadmaps, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and drive the day-to-day product lifecycle from ideation to launch. You will be instrumental in shaping products that meet market demands and exceed customer expectations.

JOB DESCRIPTION

What You Will Do: 

Develop User Stories and Product Outcomes: Creating in depth PRD’s and user stories to product clear goals and metrics for the design and engineering team.  

Drive daily Agile processes: Manage and drive agile practices to manage roadmap, product backlogs, sprints, and release plans. 

Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape. AI is your best friend here and you can teach us a thing or two about your favorite AI tool.  

Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with engineering, design, marketing, and operations teams to ensure seamless product development and delivery. 

Product Lifecycle Management: Oversee all stages of product development, ensuring timely and successful launches and KPI tracking. 

Stakeholder Engagement: Complete product demos, communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to gather feedback and align on product direction. 

Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize analytics to inform product decisions and measure product performance post-launch. 

Backlog grooming and management: Maintain and build a structured backlog process to ensure concepts & feedback are captured, groomed and uplifted. 

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree preferred. 

Experience: Minimum of 5 years in product management within the software industry, including at least 2 years in a senior role. 

Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of software development processes and technologies. 

Analytical Skills: Strong ability to analyze data and translate insights into actionable strategies. 

Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create presentations and influence across an organization and within the executive suite.  

Leadership Abilities: Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering successful products. 

Customer Focus: Deep empathy for users and a passion for creating outstanding user experiences. 

 

Overall Qualifications: 

First and foremost, you are a builder and a tinkerer. Outside of Product Management you find other ways to learn, grow, and create perhaps in cooking, hobbies, sports, art, or experimenting with the latest tools.  

You nerd out (in a good way) on AI.  

Experience working in a modern software development environment 

Opinionated, with a passion for product management, and an obsession with learning and optimizing 

Forward thinking, with a passion for technology and a strong desire to stay updated with the latest technology trends and developments, particularly around AI. 

Strong communication and collaboration skills, experience managing expectations and priorities across multiple teams

The salary range for this position is $150,000-200,000.

Additional Compensation:

Corporate Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in an annual bonus program based on individual and company performance.Onsite Property Positions: In addition to the base salary, this role may be eligible to participate in weekly, monthly, and/or quarterly bonus programs.
