Technology Portfolio Controller

Responsibilities:

Coordinate technology assets capitalization governance processes in an assigned geography (North America, Latin America, EMEA or Asia Pacific). Validate Assets Cost Benefits Analysis (CBA) alignment with technology strategies and roadmaps, including measurement and monitoring of costs incurred in connection with the original CBA and approved changes as well as validation of asset benefit realization in liaison with Finance. Contribute to enhancement of assets capitalization methodology in support of new way of working as digital enterprise, from automation to consolidation of processes and tools. Coordinate preparation of asset capitalization proposals for new and existing assets in accordance with the defined policy and methodology, and submission to Executive Committee for approval. Collaborate with technology solution, application portfolio governance and finance functions for implementation of an integrated Strategic Portfolio Management model. Participate in the development of a sunset strategy with coordination and execution of modeling of in-service asset sunset opportunities. Contribute to definition and implementation of a Global Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) model.

Qualifications:

Master’s or bachelor’s degree in IT Project Management or Information Technology. More than 5 years of Technology Industry experience with deep focus on asset management and accounting. Demonstrated experience in Technology strategy and governance support. Knowledge and experience in project and product based financial governance, from investment sizing to cost benefits analysis definition, modelling, tracking and reporting. Knowledge and experience in Assets Capitalization Management, from asset creation & placement into service to asset sunset. Experience of Asset Repository management and governance. Knowledge of Total Cost of Ownership management, tracking and reporting. Exposure to Technology Solution Governance processes and tools. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing and to interact effectively with internal and external stakeholders on a global basis. Track record of high achievement in a team-based and results-oriented culture. Proven track record in relationship-building and driving change in a matrixed work environment. Good analytical and critical thinking skills, with thorough attention to detail. Good planning, documentation and problem-solving skills.
