POSITION: Technology/Events Specialist

FLSA STATUS: Exempt, Salaried, Full-Time
SALARY RANGE: $55,000-$65,000/year
Summary:
The Technology & Events Specialist position is responsible for providing phone and data support for all events and proper computer, phone, printer, mobile phone and tablet technical support to all ASM Global staff on a day-by-day basis for U.S. Bank Stadium. This includes receiving, analyzing, prioritizing, documenting, and actively resolving escalated end user help requests. Problem resolution may involve the use of diagnostic and help request tracking tools, as well as require that the individual give in-person, hands-on help at the desktop and event level. Position will also assist with a variety of IT projects and assist in the coordination of vendor activities
Duties and Responsibilities
+ Provide end user support – both onsite and remote - for staff at all levels in the organization
+ Provide end user support on hardware, software, and related computer support requests
+ Provide training and instruction to users in person and through training management tools (Brainstorm/QuickHelp)
+ Manage hardware inventory and prepare depreciated systems for proper recycling
+ Manage approximately 150 Windows computers and 12 Apple computers via software platforms (ConnectWise/other) and manual maintenance
+ Manage, inventory, deploy and maintain roughly 500 Apple device via Kandji Platform
+ Manage functionality/maintenance/supplies of printers and multifunction devices
+ Manage EDR solution (Crowdstrike) and maintain licensing, software deployment, and scan management
+ Work closely with Event Managers to ensure proper event IT execution, including but no limited to, network distribtution and setup
+ Work as IT resource on duty during events (shared responsibility)
+ Participate in On-Call service rotation within IT Team
+ Performing preventative maintenance, including checking and cleaning of workstations, printers, peripherals and other technology related systems
+ Develop help sheets and frequently asked questions lists for end users.
+ Prioritize work and meet deadlines
+ Communicate and work with outside vendors and partners
+ Work independently and contribute to the organizational goals
+ Maintain/Develop SOPs for helpdesk duties and responsibilities
+ Maintain knowledge of NFL Cyber-security requirements and apply to working system
+ Other duties as assigned

Education and/or Experience
+ Two-year degree in the field of computer science and/or 2 years equivalent work experience.
+ customer service experience required
+ Prefer but not required working knowledge of Cisco, Extreme, Windows, MS Office (including Visio), Apple OS, Apple IOS, Android OS, Adobe, Kandji, Brainstorm/Quickhelp, HP Hardware, Dell Hardware, M365, Schneider/APC, AutoDesk, WASP Asset Management
Skills and Abilities
+ Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.
+ Desire to learn new tools and technologies
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
+ Experience with Windows, Mac OS and iOS operating systems and devices
+ Basic networking knowledge, including wireless and Ethernet networks
+ Basic knowledge of hosted email solutions (Microsoft 365 or similar)
+ Ability to configure and troubleshoot network printers and copiers
+ Strong online research and troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to undertake and complete multiple tasks with minimal direction or supervision
+ Attention to detail, strong follow-up skills and ability to remain calm under pressure
+ Ability to absorb and retain information quickly
+ Highly self motivated and directed.
+ Exceptional customer service orientation
