Technology Director
**About this role:** Wells Fargo is seeking a Technology Director to join our Commercial & Corporate Investment Banking Technology organization, owning Infrastructure Governance. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for establishing and tracking metrics to drive business decisions, such as stability, time-to-market, Total Cost of Ownership, and Risk. They will also be engaged with the monitoring and governance of large-scale initiatives such as the Data Infrastructure Strategic Program, building out support models for new environments, and aligning roadmaps with application modernization efforts. The Tech Director will also be responsible for ensuring infrastructure compliance with SOX, internal audit, and regulatory requirements. **In this role, you will:** + Manage a team of engineering managers and engineering leads + Focus on delivering commitments aligned to enterprise strategic priorities + Build support for strategies with business and technology leaders + Guide development of actionable roadmaps and plans + Identify opportunities and strategies for continuous improvement of software engineering practices + Provide oversight to software craftsmanship, security, availability, resilience, and scalability of solutions developed by the teams or third-party providers + Identify financial management and strategic resourcing + Set risk management guidelines and partner with stakeholders to implement key risk initiatives + Develop strategies for hiring engineering talent + Lead implementation of projects and encourage engineering innovation + Collaborate and influence all levels of professionals including more experienced managers + Lead team to achieve objectives + Interface with external agencies, regulatory bodies or industry forums + Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Technology Strategic Leadership + Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy **Required Qualifications:** + 8+ years of Technology Strategic Leadership experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education + 4+ years of management or leadership experience + 4+ years experience managing Technology Infrastructure **Desired Qualifications:** + Track metrics that matter to the business (e.g. Stability, time-to-market, TCO, risk, etc.) + Major initiative tracking (e.g.DISP), ensure support models for new environments, align roadmaps with app modernization efforts + Ensure infrastructure compliance with SOX, internal audit, and regulatory needs **Location:** 300 S Brevard Street, Charlotte, NC 28202 150 E 42nd St. - New York, NY 10017 Metro Park, 194 Wood Avenue South, Iselin, New Jersey 08830 **Pay Range** Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location.
