You will join the EY’s Salesforce team within Technology Consulting, working closely with communities of technology focussed professionals who work together to deliver this change, sharing modern engineering enablement and smart automation to optimise delivery and speed to outcome. These teams have deep functional knowledge and experience across our client’s core business functions, combined with deep technical skills to lead and deliver business outcome led high quality client solutions. Our management consultants and our technology consultants are the same – client focused, functional advice combined with technology enablement, one team, one dialogue, driving change and outcomes.

 

We are looking for a talented individual who possesses a unique blend of technical expertise and strategical insight to lead the design and implementation of complex Salesforce solutions. As a Senior Developer/Solution Architect, you will leverage your deep understanding of Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity/Omni Studio to architect scalable, robust, and customized solutions that meet our clients' evolving needs. You will play a pivotal role in guiding our clients through the entire development lifecycle, from requirements gathering and solution design to implementation and post-deployment support.

 

Your key responsibilities

Collaborate closely with clients and internal stakeholders to gauge business requirements and translate them into technical solutions leveraging Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity/Omni Studio. Architect end-to-end Salesforce solutions, considering factors such as scalability, performance, security, and usability. Lead the development and customization of Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity/Omni Studio solutions, utilizing Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, JavaScript, and other relevant technologies. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards. Conduct code reviews and perform quality assurance to maintain the highest level of code quality and system integrity. Work closely with cross-functional teams, including Salesforce administrators, business analysts, and project managers, to deliver successful project outcomes on time and within budget. Stay abreast of the latest Salesforce technologies, trends, and best practices, and proactively apply them to enhance our service offerings and delivery capabilities. Serve as a subject matter expert on Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity/Omni Studio, providing thought leadership and guidance to both internal teams and clients.

 

Skills and attributes for success


To qualify for the role, you must have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of experience in Salesforce development, with a focus on Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity/Omni Studio. Track record of architecting and implementing complex Salesforce solutions, including hands-on experience with Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components, and Salesforce APIs. Strong understanding of Salesforce CPQ or Vlocity/Omni Studio data model, configuration capabilities, and integration patterns. Experience leading and mentoring development teams in an Agile environment. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Salesforce certifications such as Salesforce Certified Platform Developer, Salesforce Certified CPQ Specialist, or Vlocity Platform Developer Certification are highly desirable. Ability to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
