Oracle Supply Chain – Functional- Manager 

Role: 

Responsible for executing client engagements in the areas of Supply Chain Management, Procurement and ERP/IT support. Determine that the work delivered is of high quality. Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate. Actively establish client (process owner/functional heads) and internal relationships. Assist Seniors & Managers in developing new methodologies and internal initiatives.
 

Responsibilities: 

Execution on client engagement – Ensure quality delivery as per client requirements. Review of working papers and client folders. Suggest ideas on improving engagement productivity and identify opportunities for improving client service.  Understand business & industry issues / trends. Identify areas requiring improvement in the client's business processes to enable preparation of recommendations.  Demonstrate an application & solution-based approach to problem solving technique.  Manage the engagement budgets and support superiors in developing marketing collaterals, business proposals and new solution / methodology development. Experience in Project planning and estimation Develop strong working relationships with client (process owner/functional heads) Attention to detail and mentor juniors and analysts within the practice. Contribute to knowledge management sessions within the practice.  Should be able to interpret functional requirements from onsite and able to deliver and design it from offshore Design module specific solution in the context of the integrated Oracle supply chain and procurement and sourcing applications Requirements gathering and documentation using prescribed methodologies Map client requirements  and maintenance to existing Oracle supply modules  Capable of handling Solution Design /Functional Fit-Gap /Training/Testing sessions Assist business user during CRPs/SITs/UATs Prepare test scripts and test cases & conduct trainings Support Project Management Office (PMO) Take ownership of initiatives and lead them to success


Experience:  

Core experience in supply chain functions Knowhow and hands own experience in O2C and P2P cycle with modules like Purchasing, Inventory, Order Management, I supplier, I procurement, Contracts, Sourcing, self-service procurement, supplier qualification  Clear understanding of the concepts in finance modules in relationship with Supply chain function Minimum 10 years of relevant experience working in ERP Procurement/Supply chain modules preferably in Fusion Should have worked in at least 3 full life cycle implementations with at least one of the implementations on Oracle Procurement/Supply chain (On prem & cloud) Experience in Oracle EBS functional Procurement/Supply chain modules Experience of having worked in a client facing delivery role Experience in any of the major industry sectors like government, energy, oil & gas, power & utilities

Strong customer handling skills and ability to lead & mentor team-members Ability to drive project and team independently Strong communication skills and ability to translate requirements into design documents. Must have knowledge of documenting using any methodology Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines Excellent organizational and time management skills, strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to acquire, absorb, and apply complex business knowledge to problems quickly Ability to work as part of a team Ability to follow well defined release management processes Ability to multitask and still stay focused on release priorities Must have valid passport. Client site work / Business Traveling involved
