Job Description

Summary:

Your primary responsibility will be on Enterprise product validation for Western Digital’s NVMe/NVMe-oF storage enclosures, Interact with engineers within the team and across other teams in the company and coordinate testing activities.To be able to deliver a quality product by performing all the necessary QA job functions.Contribute majorly towards automating the test plan and delivering the test framework.Debug firmware and hardware issues with SSD/HDD, storage products through the use of systematic tests to develop, apply, and maintain quality standards for company products.Produce deliverables by developing, modifying, and executing firmware test plans.Consult with development engineers in resolution of problems.Troubleshoot/isolate issues to root cause, down to the right component in the test ecosystem.

Detailed Description:

14+ years’ experience of Server / Storage QA automation & testing with SSDs, firmware and storage subsystemsExcellent knowledge of Storage Servers, Storage Arrays – JBOD, JBOFs, NAS, SANIn-depth working knowledge of SAS, SCSI, PCIe protocolsExperience with following will be preferred skills :Secure boot Secure Firmware DownloadTransport Layer Security ( TLS) 1.3, IPSecAsymmetric ( Private-Public key) CryptographySymmetric Cryptography( i.e AES-GCM)Quantam-safe( Post-Quantam) CryptographyPenetration testing experienceFIPS 140-2/140-3 exposureWorking knowledge on SSD and debugging skills is a plus.Understand Hardware and Software interactionWorking knowledge on SAS/PCIe analyzers is a plusInstall and configure various hardware and software componentsPerform bug verification and drive issues to resolutionWhite box testing knowledge is a plusSecurity/Pen Testing knowledge is a plusSolid working knowledge of operating systems: Windows / Linux including trouble shooting issues/problems with those systemsAssist in customer escalationsUnderstand Software development Life CycleExcellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skillsAbility to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environmentAbility to multi-task and meet deadlinesSelf-motivated and Self-driven

QualificationsB.E / B.Tech /M.E/M.Tech - E.C.E/CSE/IT 14+ years of industry experience in the field of storage/networking/server domain with strong fundamentals.
