Today, we continue to lead because we have a world-class, diverse workforce that puts the customer at the center of everything we do. **About the role** Carrier’s Mechanical Center of Excellence (CoE) - Compression Module is seeking a motivated, results-oriented technician to join our team at the Monterrey Technology Hub (MTH) in Monterrey, MX. This technician will support Carrier’s compression technology programs and the manufacturing team with quality analysis. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the teardown analysis of compressors in commercial and transportation refrigeration systems. Your expertise will be vital in ensuring proper diagnosis of field failures, production rejections, and qualification of alternative supplier components. This role will also provide technical guidance to customers and internal teams. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, engineering, and manufacturing, to ensure high-quality product development and application. **Key Responsibilities:** As a Technician / Mechanic – Compression Engineering, you’ll be responsible for: + Assist in troubleshooting compressor performance and field issues + Build prototype compressors, make compressor modifications, and perform compressor tear down analysis + Test operation, troubleshooting and diagnostics + Test equipment modification, maintenance and construction + Apply general mechanical talents including brazing, welding, and installation of special instrumentation devices to support compressor design, testing and development. + Part inspection and use of measurement equipment **Requirements** We are looking for people who are focused and time-oriented.
