Job Description:

This position is responsible for providing technical support to engineers using AutoCAD Civil 3D for site/commercial and residential land development projects.

What can you expect on a daily basis?

Prepare and/or revise construction and planning documents as well as exhibits within company standards from redlines for a variety of projectsCoordinate and communicate with project team in engineering, production, design and management to meet overall project objectives and deadlinesUnderstand and use established company standards for drafting including layer names, line and character styles, drawings and window names, and file names for sheet layout Analyze sketches, notes and other input material to determine and plan the best approach to develop and complete drawings with minimal supervision Inform Project Manager(s) of progress on assigned projects and request work when neededMaintain organized work area to allow access of project information by other team membersFlexible in work assignments and team assignments

What qualifications are needed and key to this role?

Associates Degree or Certificate of Completion in Computer-Aided Design / Applied Science, preferably with a civil design specializationWorking land development design knowledge in AutoCAD, preferably with Civil 3D 2023 or current versionDetail oriented with high level of accuracyEffective communications and interpersonal skills; ability to develop and maintain professional relationshipsMust be flexible to changes in work assignments on short notice and/or on a daily basis as changes occur in project needsMust be able to work Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm, with occasional overtime
