Purpose of Role: The successful candidate will need to be energetic and have a passion for Customer Support. They should be technically sound and be able to promote and generate business from existing and new customers within the Gamsberg Aggeneys area as well as growing the market share by providing value adding solutions to products and processes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Safety First: Demonstrate 100% commitment to our Zero Harm behaviors in support of our drive towards developing a world class safety culture. Adhere to all Safety Health Environmental (SHE) and comply to customers Health and Safety requirements on site. Adhere to Duty of Care Policy at all times.Customer Support: Provide world-class customer and technical support to clients with a high level of professionalism.Sales Growth: Assist District Manager to grow product installed base in the Gamsberg Aggeneys region.Strategy: Provide market intelligence about customers and competitors to help identify and develop new markets, sale strategy and support accurate forecasting.Assist with improved inventory management and more accurate consignment stock management.Assist with accurate data capturing to provide comprehensive KPI’s.Conduct mining bucket inspections.Conduct Daily inspections on GET condition monitoring and wear rates.Assist with training as and when required to ensure optimal utilization of ESCO product.Provide Technical Support to the repair facilities (Situated in Springbok) for rebuilds and repairs.Assist to gain accurate information regarding Customers Capital planning to grow Capital Bucket sales.


Job Knowledge/Education and Qualifications:

3 years related technical experience in mining equipment/ mining environment.Qualified Artisan.Valid driver’s license.Computer literacy.Technical report writing experience.You will be a proactive, confident and self-motivated individual that takes pride in quality of work you deliver with the ability to work under pressure.  You should possess solid communication, presentation, technical solutions and relationship building skills including the ability to manage difficult customers and honor customer commitments.
