**Job Title: General Laborer - Concrete and Masonry Construction** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated General Laborer to join our team for concrete and masonry construction projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual labor tasks to ensure the successful completion of construction projects. **Responsibilities** + Perform a variety of tasks involving manual labor in concrete and masonry construction projects. + Prepare surfaces for concrete. + Shovel concrete into construction areas. + Perform a variety of tasks not directly related to concrete as a general laborer. + Maintain a clean job site by picking up all tools and equipment and securing the job site each day to eliminate potential hazards. + Handle and store materials properly. + Load and unload trucks, haul and hoist materials. + Ensure that proper safety and incident reporting procedures are followed. **Essential Skills** + Some knowledge of proper use of equipment, materials, and supplies used in concrete and masonry construction work. + Some knowledge of first aid and applicable safety precautions. + Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule. + Ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for long periods and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. + Ability to communicate orally and in writing. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + 1+ year of construction experience within concrete or landscaping. + Proficiency with hand tools and power tools. + Experience with equipment operation, blueprint reading, and using a tape measure. **Why Work Here?** We offer competitive pay with potential for an increase after a contract period.
