Job Description

This position will report to the Production Supervisor and will be responsible for various work assignments throughout the shop area.

Responsibilities:

Perform all operations associated with part finishing removal of burrs, blending of surfaces on complex geometry using various hand and power toolsMark, label and package machine parts to be sent out for outside processes.Drive to outside process houses (approximately 5% of the time) as needed.Install H-coils into piece parts using insert tooling without damage to hardware.Willing to learn to load piece parts into machine.Complete transactions in MRP system (Basic PC skills in a Windows environment)Stage WIP for machine, material and tooling as needed for CNC machines.Maintain clean and safe work environment. Follow safety and environmental procedures and regulations. Report safety incidents to supervisor.Select and document proper tools according to setup sheetsPerform all responsibilities within productivity and quality expectations.

Job Specifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required.Must demonstrate ability to setup and monitor equipment through written and verbal instructions.Minimum 1+ years of manufacturing related experience with ability to use and read various measuring instruments.Ability to perform fine mechanical assembly.Defense and Aerospace Industry experience including working knowledge of company product lines a plusExcellent verbal and written communication skills in English.Must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of management.
