Seeking customer focused, multi-service, self-motivated Technician for the area of Field Installation and Repair. As a leader in providing telecommunications services, we specialize in providing installation, maintenance and emergency repair support to telecommunications companies from across Canada. 

 

What You'll Do Here:

 

Must be safety conscious and able to adhere to a highly focused safety culture

Deliver exceptional customer experiences and high-quality installations for IPTV, Internet and Phone Service in customers’ homes and businesses.

Install and repair support for Phone, Internet and TV transported over fiber networks

Be able to offer customers Products that may help better their experience

Troubleshooting and repair support for IPTV, Internet and Phone Service transported over fiber, copper

Responsible for a geographical area to complete assigned work on a daily basis

Provision and maintain outside plant facilities, including buried and aerial fiber and copper networks.

Self-motivated and highly organized to manage workloads with minimal direction

Highly Adaptable to constantly changing technologies, methods, and procedures

Working at heights in different spaces in accordance with provincial and federal guideline

 

What You Bring to the Team:

 

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

1+ years of technical field experience.

Experience with GPON, Copper and SHS is an asset.

Excellent Customer Service skills.

Must be willing to work outdoors in changing weather conditions, all seasons

Maintain a valid provincial driver’s license and provide a driver’s abstract quarterly

Must be willing to travel and work in various locations

Successfully complete a criminal background check

Comfortable working with computers

Evening, Weekend and Holiday work is required

Sales background preferred but not a must

 

The compensation for this role is based on a piecework model and an hourly training rate of $22.00.
