Key Role:

Writes and edits technical documentation, user manuals, and sales and training literature. Applies advanced skills, extensive technical expertise, and full industry knowledge. Develops innovative solutions to complex problems. Works without considerable direction. Mentors and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience with original content creation

Experience with Visio or similar Flow Chart and Diagram software

Experience with creating training materials

Experience with assisting ISSO with SSP documentation

Experience with Confluence

Experience with scrubbing documents for release-ability

TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph

Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience with technical writing or 10+ years of experience with technical writing in lieu of a degree

Additional Qualifications:

Knowledge of web services

Knowledge of open-source tools and frameworks

Knowledge of coding languages and other technical skills

Clearance:

Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is required.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $67,700.00 to $154,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
