International is seeking a highly skilled Technical Training Specialist - Chief Engineer to join our dynamic Product Development team. In this pivotal role, you will lead the development and deployment of technical training strategies and content for engineers. Certification in Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) and DMAIC Six Sigma is preferred.

 

While we prefer candidates to be based at our World Headquarters in Lisle, Illinois, we are open to considering remote work arrangements for the right candidate. This assignment will require global travel.

Responsibilities Developing and expanding technical training courses including DFSS and DMAIC Six SigmaCreating and delivering content tailored for engineers in a product development environmentEvaluating and overseeing training programsDevelop strategic plans with senior leaders for technical training executionConduct training courses for employees at multiple facility and remote locations, including overseas officesAssist in the creation of advanced technical training curriculumPresent information using various instructional techniques or formats, such as simulations, team exercises, group discussions, videos, or lecturesGuide leadership in identifying high-value projects and approve them for implementationPresent project value and status to senior leadershipCoach and mentor engineers through the completion of their projectsDevelop and certify training candidatesProvide expert guidance to resolve any technical issues within the execution of training programs Minimum Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 15 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experienceAt least 2 years of lead experience

OR

Master’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 12 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experienceAt least 2 years of lead experience

OR

PhD in Engineering, Engineering Technology or Computer ScienceAt least 9 years of experience in product design/development or new technologies and/or computer science experienceAt least 2 years of experience of lead experience Additional Requirements Qualified candidates, excluding current International Motors employees, must be legally authorized on an unrestricted basis (US Citizen, Legal Permanent Resident, Refugee or Asylee) to be employed in the United States.
