Our client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Technician with a passion for training to join our client’s team as a Technical Trainer. The ideal candidate will have a background in mechanical and/or electrical systems, and a passion for teaching and developing training materials. This role focuses on educating and supporting technical field staff through hands-on training sessions and creating detailed Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), manuals, and other training materials.

Perks & Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits package.Daytime work schedule with no travel requirements, allowing for a strong work-life balance.Opportunity to work with an industry leader that is growing rapidlyResponsibilities:Create Training Materials: Develop high-quality SOPs, manuals, and presentations that effectively communicate technical knowledge.Conduct Training Sessions: Lead interactive and engaging training sessions for technical staff, simplifying complex concepts into actionable knowledge.Evaluate Training Effectiveness: Continuously assess the impact of training programs through feedback, assessments, and performance metrics, refining the content for maximum effectiveness.Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs): Partner with internal teams and SMEs to ensure training materials are accurate, up-to-date, and relevant to current practices.Stay Current with Industry Trends: Remain up-to-date with advances in technical systems to ensure training content reflects the latest industry developments.Provide Post-Training Support: Offer ongoing guidance and support to employees, ensuring they can apply their new knowledge effectively and address any challenges.Qualifications:Proven experience in training or coaching, ideally within the mechanical and or electrical industry.Strong mechanical and/or electrical inclinationExcellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to explain complex technical information in a clear, concise manner.Experience in developing training materials, including SOPs, manuals, and digital content.Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.Preferred: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in a technical field, or a trade certificate in a related field. Relevant experience will also be considered.
