Technical Trainer
Job Description SummaryAn opportunity is available for new Technical Trainers. As part of the wider technical community the role will report to the Training Leader. The successful candidates will be responsible for establishing and maintaining individual competency in relation to Part 145 requirements as well as all other key training deliverables.

Job DescriptionEssential Functions

Design, produce and deliver training content for all aspects of the business, ensuring Managers, Planners, Supervisors, Mechanics, Specialised Service Staff, Support Staff and Certifying Staff understand their responsibilities and can demonstrate competency in accordance with Part 145.

Deliver all required training content, including hands on, classroom and on-line training.

Deliver against the KPI’s assigned to the Training Team and support wider business goals.

Develop specific courses after identifying training gaps from data analysis of quality metrics, audit findings, Daily Shop Management or other sources.

Complete training documentation and record keeping in accordance with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Conduct analysis of course feedback and develop course improvement plans.

Maintain a culture of continuous improvement, problem solving and adoption of Lean principles.

Support Quality team during root cause investigation of issues or incidents.

Qualifications / Requirements

The Trainers must promote a positive culture around Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost whilst demonstrating GE’s Leadership Behaviours of Humility, Transparency, Focus and unyielding Integrity.

Candidates should be able to demonstrate appropriate technical experience.

Effective communication skills and the ability to interact at all levels of the workforce.

Proven ability to motivate, mentor and coach employees.

Applicants should be self-motivated to learn new processes and be comfortable working across different business functions where required.
