Position Summary:Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc. is seeking a Technical Support Specialist III to offer outstanding product line consultation to our customers. In this role, you will play a critical part in maintaining flawless scientific operations by troubleshooting effectively and collaborating closely with our field service team.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:Provide technical support via phone or electronically to customers, involving part numbers, hardware, software, and operationsTroubleshoot efficiently applying the knowledgebases to successfully implement solutionsEngage in occasional field service activities to maintain high knowledge levels for effective troubleshootingManage all ticket types for Technical Support and participate in quote creationDiagnose all contract and warranty service requests strictly and communicate clear plans to the field service teamConsistently follow business procedures and meet performance metricsEnsure both internal and external customers receive outstanding experiences with every interactionPerform all other duties as assigned by the Technical Support Manager and/or SupervisorRequirements:Proven experience in technical support, preferably in an information technology roleStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot effectivelyExcellent communication skills, especially in French and EnglishAbility to work collaboratively in an ambitious and inclusive team environmentDetermination to deliver outstanding customer serviceAbility to balance multiple tasks and compete in a fast-paced environmentStrong organizational skills and attention to detailJoin us at Thermo Fisher Scientific Inc., where your contributions will help make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer.
