Technical Suport is a position within our Technical Services Career Path. You are emerging in your technician career and are employing the use of appropriate and effective troubleshooting and service behaviors and are modeling to your junior counterparts in employing quality workmanship.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities: (Detailed Description)

Maintain a professional and profitable repair and preventive maintenance service on Stryker’s products, while ensuring compliance with the quality systems and manufacturer specifications. Deliver technical assistance and documentation to internal and external customers. Repair and check electronic / mechanical Stryker productsPerform annual service checks in house on the Stryker productsEfficient management of documentation for internal as external referencesGive technical support to Product Managers and sales staffGive technical support to Customers and Sales DepartmentGive IT support on certain instrumentsEnsure excellent follow-up on all customer initiated issuesRespond to Service Complaints as definedTurnaround time for repairs within set guidelinesAssist with service delivery, and training of Customers and Sales StaffMaintain demo loaner pool platform is kept in order and accountable for

Qualifications/Experience:

Grade 12 National Diploma or Degree in Clinical Engineering or other Electronic related equivalent qualificationMinimum 1 years’ experience in medical electronics, combined with good mechanical skills, preferably in the hospital environmentStryker product portfolio knowledge preferredAbility to interpret manufacturing prints & troubleshooting guidelinesFluency in English, spoken & writtenAdequate IT knowledge (Microsoft Office, Lotus Notes, MFG/Pro, Outlook)Valid driving licence preferablyAbout Stryker
