We have an exciting opportunity for a Technical Supervisor\: Electrical, Calibrations, Electromechanical, and Data Verification/Acquisition Technicians to join the team
The Technical Supervisor\: Electrical, Calibrations, Electromechanical, and Data Verification/Acquisition Technicians will\:
Report directly to the Technical, Maintenance, and Operations Section Manager Supervise and direct daily activities of approximately 30 Electrical, Calibrations, and Data System Technicians in multiple Johnson Space Center (JSC) facilities within the Crew and Thermal Systems Division (CTSD) Ensures the safe technical performance of support staff and technical quality of projects and laboratory testing. Ensure work is completed safely per the National Electrical Code (NEC). Responsible for the safety of the employees in the operational areas and promoting oversight for compliance with HSE requirements and company policies Conduct meetings for daily technician assignments and resolve technical/scheduling issues Review engineering work orders/drawings for conflicts with the facility or safety requirements. Understand and manage priority levels for all tasks while ensuring work is meeting standards, schedules, and testing needs Monitor LOTO for electrical tasks up to 480VAC. Typically requires a HS diploma and 10 years of experience or BS in Engineering Technology or related field and 5 years of experience. Must have prior leadership experience Must be able to perform supervisory duties with approximately 30 people Demonstrated experience and effectiveness in leading multi-disciplinary teams in facility management Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent interpersonal skills Competent in the use of the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook). This position requires a full-time on-location presence at JSCRequisition Preferences\:
A minimum of two (2) years of college or ten (10) years of relevant experience or any equivalent combination of education/experience for a total of twelve (12) years. Master Electrician License strongly preferred Familiarization with JSC organizations, processes, and procedures. Facility testing experience is strongly preferred Familiarity with facility management, reporting, and work order tools used by JSC facilities Ability to respond well to the demands of working in a very dynamic facility environment Previous experience managing/leading/operating NASA JSC EA test facilities Knowledge of JSC clinic physical/medical requirements for achievement and maintaining of certifications for employee workforceWhy Join Our Team?
