Key Responsibilities
Process Management
Manage throughput for defined IPC processes by analysing scheduled expectations for each process. Provide technical assistance on all equipment and software within the processing centre as required. Evaluate job requirements and recommend the best methodologies and equipment to ensure optimal throughput and accuracy. Provide technical support to clients both onsite and via phone. Oversee scheduled maintenance and servicing of processing equipment to ensure maximum uptime. Report on scheduled maintenance and consumable utilisation of equipment to the Processing Centre Manager. Assist in evaluating job requirements to recommend suitable methodologies and equipment. Support the sales team in presenting IPC processes and software applications to clients. Assist in setting up new equipment and software for upcoming projects or updates. Stay informed on networking and software platforms relevant to the role. Manage data analysis, merging, and importing/uploading of data. Demonstrate problem-solving skills to address technical issues efficiently. Manage tight deadlines and work effectively under pressure. Maintain a strong focus on detail, quality, and accuracy. People Management
Ensure team members are properly trained and equipped with the necessary skills to perform their tasks efficiently. Foster a positive working environment that boosts staff morale and enhances productivity. Supervisory Responsibilities
No direct supervisory responsibility.
Minimum Qualifications, Experience, and Knowledge
The ideal candidate will meet the following requirements:
Project Management Diploma or relevant IT-related qualification. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. At least 3 years of technical experience in a document processing environment. Experience with Microsoft SQL and Access databases is advantageous. Strong technical knowledge in data management will be beneficial to the role. Excellent problem-solving skills to address challenges and optimise processes. A valid driver’s license and own vehicle essential.
