Technical Service Representative

Job Description

The Technical Service Representative will be responsible for product recommendations, troubleshooting product/process issues, addressing product quality concerns, and conducting root cause analysis for existing and prospective customers. This role requires independent management of pressure-sensitive adhesive projects, from formulated resin to plant production and customer trials. The Technical Service Representative will test adhesives, analyze results, scale up approved adhesives in pilot and production stages, lead customer coating trials, and provide technical support post-commercialization. This role demands close collaboration with cross-functional teams, delivering technical presentations, and ensuring adherence to safety and environmental guidelines.

Responsibilities include:

Internal and external communication on project progress.

Contributing to business growth initiatives.

Early customer engagement to develop technical requirements.

Developing technical plans that align with customer and business expectations.

QualificationsB.S. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or relatedMinimum of 5 years of adhesive experienceMust be comfortable giving presentations to customers

This is a fully on-site position in Columbus, Ohio.
