Designs, constructs, validates and implements new and refurbished sterilization, sanitization, emissions and monitoring systems. Directs operation of the sterilization or sanitization of products. Ensures test samples and procedures are in compliance with internal and external requirements. Monitors water systems for contamination. Writes and reviews documentation for new and current test procedure and technical reports related to laboratory equipment, products and/or processes. Investigates out of specification product results, contamination incidents and determines appropriate resolutions including product disposition. Sets and reinforces product hygiene standards for the organization.

 

Applies advanced knowledge of job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience. Responsibilities may include: • Managing projects / processes, working independently with limited supervision. • Coaching and reviewing the work of lower level professionals. • Problems faced are difficult and sometimes complex.
