To support our team Campbell Scientific is now looking for a Tec hnical Sales Engineer
Job Overview :
In this role you will play a crucial role with our infrastructure customer accounts . You will be responsible to sustainably grow sales of our infrastructure business in Africa .
Regular travel and attendance at industry conferences are part of our commitment to building strong, lasting customer relationships and becoming trusted advisors .
You’ll Support your Team by Performing the Following Key Tasks :
Create and maintain a strong culture in accordance with Campbell Scientific’s core ARCTIC values – Accountability, Respect, Client-Centric, Teamwork, Innovation, Continuous Improvement .
Convert specific target organizations from prospective clients to clients. Target organizations are based on target clients defined in market strategies
Win and ensure success of large, strategically important opportunities , taking ownership f or commercial and technical documentation for opportunities and tenders
Provide sales training, collateral s , and tools to represent Campbell Scientific, be trusted advisors to target clients, and achieve revenue targets
Be engaged in the industry, attending events, visiting clients, leading exhibitions, and trainings. Travel up to 30% for customer visits
Work with a global market-focused team to engage company capabilities and assets to improve our competitive position and revenue in the African market. Contribute to the guidance of internal product development, marketing, and sales plans based on the African market ’s needs
