Technical Quality Assurance - Sr Professional II

What does a successful Technical Quality Assurance – Sr. Professional II do at Fiserv?
As a Technical Quality Assurance Professional at Fiserv, you will excel in both manual and automated software testing. You will design and improve frameworks used to test UI and APIs using programming languages. Your role will encompass debugging, troubleshooting, finding root causes, and preparing test data for services. Your contributions will ensure the reliability and performance of our software solutions.

What you will do:

• Work alongside business analysts and QA team members to understand business requirements.

• Create and execute test plans and cases based on requirements and design specifications.

• Raise technical, security, delivery, and performance risks.

• Participate in and promote our DevOps culture.

• Identify and implement continuous improvements in the test development practice.

• Understand the existing processing architecture.

• Improve and design automation frameworks with newer standards.

What you will need to have:

• 7+ years of experience as a QA/SDET.

• 5+ years of proficiency with Agile/Scrum methodologies.

• 6+ years of experience in writing test plans, test cases, and test summary reports.

• 5+ years of knowledge and understanding of test management tools like Zephyr, ALM, and X-ray.

• 5+ years of experience with Postman and SoapUI for testing and automating APIs.

• 6+ years of strong understanding of test data preparation and mocking test data.

• Current Fiserv experience.

What would be great to have:

• Experience with Jira.

• Practical experience with end-to-end testing, and hands-on experience with DevOps CI/CD pipelines including Azure, AWS, Jenkins, Maven, and GitLab.

• Knowledge of Test-Driven Development (TDD) and/or Behavior-Driven Development (BDD).

• Experience with mainframes, including navigating and understanding green screens, lookup fields, VSAM lookup, and JCL jobs.
