As a Technical Project Manager at CommScope, you will oversee and drive the execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, adherence to timelines, and budget compliance. You will collaborate cross-functionally with teams to deliver innovative solutions in telecommunications. This is an onsite position at our Catawba, NC facility.
How You'll Help Us Connect the World:
Lead and manage end-to-end project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure. Develop project scopes, objectives, and detailed work plans in collaboration with stakeholders. Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for seamless project execution. Monitor and manage project performance using appropriate tools and techniques, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget. Proactively identify and mitigate risks, escalating issues when necessary. Foster strong communication channels with stakeholders, regularly updating progress, challenges, and deliverables. Analyze project outcomes and suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and quality. Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and customer requirements.
Required Qualifications for Consideration:
Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, or related field Three or more years of experience in project management, ideally in a technology or telecommunications setting. Familiarity with project management tools MS Project, Planview and methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall. Ability to travel and work flexible hours to accommodate global teams.
You Will Excite Us If You Have:
PMP certification Fiber Optic Ribbon and or Ribbon Cable knowledge or experience Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict-resolution skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities. Financial acumen and budget management experience.
