Job Description

We’re looking for an outstanding Technical Project Manager – someone who can take the technical project management lead at the advertising agency. They work with the delivery team to create, plan and deliver a project delivery best practice approach for clients. They are responsible for maintaining a cohesive project management approach and consistently delivery on projects and campaigns, in line with technical best practice.

What you’ll do:  

The Technical Project Manager plays an essential role by ensuring all work required by the development team is delivered on time, following best practices and at the highest standard. Manage the technical team and all work they deliver; ensure that projects are delivered on time, following platform and project management best practices; work closely with the client service and delivery teams.

 

Day-to-day, your role includes:

Develop and manage the project, communication, resource plans and processes.Analyse all management and technical processes to ensure they’re delivered as expected.Meet regularly with project stakeholders and define project goals and objectives.Lead budget and resource allocation through all project phases.Schedule project timelines.Make estimates for the budget and schedule.Generate regular reports to update stakeholders and manage projects.Establish and train teams on processes and strategies.Oversee day-to-day technical operations, including assignments and personnel review.Define roles and responsibilities of the team and determine clear deliverables.Research and evaluate new hardware and software technology and help make decisions on the cost-benefit analysis of new purchases.

Qualifications

We’re looking for strong, impactful work experience, which typically includes:

Degree in project management or related technical field preferred.Project management certification preferred.Several years of professional work as a technical project manager with proven experience in managing platform build and maintenance projects.Trained in project management and knowledge of various methodologies to deliver successful projects.Experience leading, coaching, and developing technical teams.Comfortable in a highly competitive, collaborative, and fast-paced work environment.Managerial experienceScrum master experience (Defending your priorities and goals)MS Excel skillsMS Projects Experience and Smartsheets Experience

Miscellaneous:
