Join Our Team as a Tech Product Owner for Retail Solutions Back Office Europe!
We’re looking for a new team member to join Retail Systems at Circle K as we implement a new Store Back Office solution across Europe—including the recently acquired TotalEnergies stations in four new countries.
As a Technical Product Owner, you will play a key role in deploying a standardized Back Office Solution (BOS) across these markets, ensuring efficiency, scalability, and alignment with our business needs.

Key responsibilitiesVendor management and SPOC for the key vendor.
Maintaining the product roadmap, together we key stakeholders delivering on the vision and strategy for the domain.
Collaborate with Solutions Architects, Product owners, product lead and subject matters experts in application team to define and prioritize new features.
Create and maintain dependency map, understands the applications and integrations involved in delivering on the full service/experience.
Continually develop features and the technical setup of the solution to simplify and optimize the operational setup.
Ensuring cost optimal solutions with low TCO, forecasting and cost management.
Lead and coordinate internal stakeholders in relation to introduction of new features and/or new processes, including securing UAT and end to end test of the service.
Secure stable and efficient operations while at the same time keeping the operational budget.
Secure proper release management.
Manage Incident flow and request handling cross suppliers and partners, as well as follow up service performance and SLA's – availability and incident resolution time.
Manage GDPR controls, user access, data retentions, PCI, SOX, Software updates and support OS patching
Develop and implement appropriate monitoring & alarms for end-to-end service together with suppliers and internal partner.
3rd/4th line support on Incident and follow up on root causes.
Experience and skills requiredBachelor’s and/or master’s degree in computer science or engineering is an advantage
Good business understanding and commercial awareness
Hands on experience with development lifecycle with requirements capture and testing for validation and verification
Experience with outsourcing and vendor management
Analytic and Structured
Used to working independently, while at the same time has a team mentality and willingness to share knowledge and ideas in a productive manner.
Experience in establishing KPI’s for IT services
Experience in ITIL and ITSM principles and processes
Excellent communication skills in English – both verbal and written. Ability to share and communicate clearly, both orally and in writing
Experience with working in a distributed organization
Fuel retail tech background will be an advantage
Some travel must be expected.
