Technical Product Manager, Analytics

The Technical Product Manager, Analytics is responsible for overseeing the achievement of larger organizational goals by coordinating efforts among technology programs with business stakeholders and technical development teams. The incumbent in this role leads one or more programs with primary focus and accountability for strategy, coordination of execution and implementation of data infrastructure transformation initiatives. The Technical Program Manager, Analytics helps the organization stay on schedule, in scope and on an upward trajectory of success and growth by executing strategic initiatives.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:

Manages multiple programs through the entire project lifecycle from initiation to delivery. Coordinates and delegates cross-program initiatives.

Partners with project sponsors, business and technical subject matter experts to plan and develop scope, deliverables, work plan and timelines for new initiatives.

Develops roadmaps, implements best practices, and designs repeatable processes to ensure long term success of program

Collaborates with multiple teams including data architects, engineers, developers, management and business stakeholders

Analyzes, evaluates and overcomes program risks. Communicates schedules, dependencies, issues, and risks across teams and to stakeholders

Understands business requirements and technical solutions to ensure effective delivery and communication

Performs other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

Competent level business acuity

Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of general/core job-related functions, practices, processes, procedures, techniques and methods

Competent knowledge and understanding of SQL, Python

Competent knowledge and understanding of data storage, manipulation and modeling 

Advanced skill in Microsoft Office Suite products including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook; competent in other systems required for the position

Outstanding working knowledge of change management principles and performance evaluation processes

Excellent organization, listening, interpretation and project execution skills

Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate and influence at a higher level of leadership within the organization

Ability to train, coach, mentor and evaluate effectiveness of individuals either in a one-to-one or small group situation

Ability to establish and maintain rapport and gain the trust of others

Ability and willingness to travel locally, regionally and/or nationally, up to 20% of the time; flexible to work evening, weekends and/or holidays as needed

Spoken and written fluency in English

This job requires use and exercise of independent judgment

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE CRITERIA:

BA/BS degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Engineering Management, Business or Healthcare Administration or related field required OR additional experience above the minimum may be considered in lieu of the required education on a year-for-year basis

A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in project/program management required; preferably in healthcare, technology or related industry

Certifications in relevant Product or Project Management practices: PMP, Certified Scrum Master, Program, Product and Portfolio Management highly desired
