This position is an in-office role at our office located at 500 N 3rd Street Wausau, WI. The hours are flexible, during normal business hours, Monday-Friday (no weekends).

Scanning and software experience preferred

As a Technical Processor, you'll provide support and training to other processors. This includes examining and evaluating processes to develop or improve workflow or procedures. We'll count on you to research and quality check the work of other processors and resolve customer issues. In addition, you'll perform senior processing functions as needed and serve as a back-up group lead.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Monitors discrepancies, exceptions and quality control processing. Communicates with customers to research items, clarify requests, resolve problems and service issues and to ensure proper imaging of documents, policies, legal forms, check handling etc.

Troubleshoots problems and recommends resolutions relative to the imaging systems. Analyzes changes including any recommendations for process improvement. Performs necessary audit functions regarding workflow issues.

Ensures timely and accurate processing of documents and checks while maintaining maximum on-line availability to system users according to the established service level agreements. 

Performs and/or supports all capture functions in a back-up or technical expert role.

May perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Reporting Relationships: Reports to Supervisor.

Typical Skills and Experiences: 

Education: High school diploma or equivalent.

Experience: Four years of experience in document capture/imaging.

Knowledge, Abilities and Skills: In-depth working knowledge of all phases of imaging/document capture processes, terminology and operations. Prefer familiarity with internal processes, products, customers and equipment. Ability to operate various type of imaging equipment including personal computer and related software. Ability to build detailed processing instructions and train others. Good communication skills for interaction with customers, vendors and team members. Organizational skills and attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.

Other criteria, including leadership skills, competencies and experiences may take precedence.

Staffing exceptions to the above be approved by the hiring manager’s leader and Human Resource Business Partner.

Overtime Eligibility: Eligible (Non Exempt)

Working Conditions: Production environment. Moderate noise level. Ability to twist, turn, bend, stoop and make repetitive motions with hands/wrists. Able to sit for extended periods of time. Able to consistently lift up to 35 lbs. and frequently lift, carry or push up to 80 pounds
