Position Summary
Thales is looking for a Technical Pre Sales Expert who is primarily responsible to provide technical and domain expertise in our D1 offer as part of our Modern Card Issuance Program. D1 offers a wide range of services such as virtual and physical card issuance, payment processing, tokenization and advance controls in the mobile application. You will work closely with the Sales teams and be responsible for translating business needs into technical implementation specifications, as well as leverage unique knowledge in the banking ecosystem to provide field feedback to the product team and improve Thales services.
In this position, you will also be responsible for maintaining the technical and customer flows consistency across the customer engagement journey from Pre-sales to Onboarding.
This position can be based in Mexico City, Sao Paulo or Bogotá.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Collaborate with sales team to identify customer needs and requirements and design the best technical solutions to meet those needs using Thales platforms.Present to customers during pre-sales on the use of our Cards Payments and Issuance Services, including Onboarding, configuration & solution design, and architecture.Develop and deliver Thales Modern Card Issuance product demonstrations and presentations to customers, both in-person and remotely.Conduct technical assessments of customer IT architecture and environments to identify potential integration points and customization requirements.Support Sales Executives during meetings with customer technical teams to present our APIs, Flows, product configurations, services, interfaces, etcDevelop proof of concept applications built on top of D1, present technical demonstrations, and help Thales customers make the most of their integration.Minimum Requirements
Degree in Engineering or another technical relevant field of study; or equivalent work experience.At least 5-8 years of progressive experience in similar position.Fluent English with effective communication skills.Strong technical background in Payments and Card Issuance Services, including APIs, payment gateways, and merchant services.Experience in customer-facing roles, conducting product demonstrations and presentations to customers.Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Ability to work independently and in a team environment.If you’re excited about working with Thales, but not meeting the requirements for this position, we encourage you to join our Talent Community!
