Perform hardware and software setup and tuning activities, data backups, troubleshoot server problems, and maintain a high availability system. **Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:** + Provide server administration, backup/restore, and recovery services. + Provide Windows/ Linux support to include installation and configuration management services, file system management, memory management, tape management, printer management, and system security services. + Ensure production systems maintain very high availability. + Perform root cause analysis on any unscheduled downtime. + 24x7 technical support for optimum server performance and system recovery in compliance with Army Regulations. + Maintain the centralized/ virtualized hardware, networks, operating systems, databases, and the SAP in Data Processing software landscape, and as needed, update the associated technical and security documentation. + Provide technical support and planning of hardware, networks, operating systems, databases, and communications solutions. + Install, upgrade, document, and maintain new versions of server software, to include but not limited to Information Assurance Vulnerability Alerts (IAVAs) and patches. + Monitor server performance and identify needed corrective measures to remain in compliance with Army Regulations. + Analyze hardware and software reliability reports to identify problems. + Plan for future technical/ hardware/ software refreshes. + Plan, configure, and maintain hardware and software needed for a remote site in accordance with Contingency of Operation (COOP) requirements. + Provide support for HP c7000 Chassis, Windows Server 2016, Data Protector. + Provide support of Oracle LINUX servers + Provide support for AWS migration path to cloud + Ability to zone and setup Fibre Channel Storage + Tape Library Experience + NetApp ONTAP 9.X Experience/SAN Experience + Interface with Boundary Security Services (BSS) and similar entities at customer locations to resolve issues related to communications and network connectivity issues. + Provide expertise in Lightweight Directory Access Protocol (LDAP) services, Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and Hyper Text Transfer Protocol Secure sockets (HTTPS). + Interface with various Cyber Security groups to identify and mitigate IA findings. + Plan, support, migrate to, and maintain a secure and optimized VM environment. + US Citizen/Public Trust required, must be able to obtain a Secret clearance; active Secret preferred **Education:** + BS/BA degree is strongly preferred but not required **Work Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:** + U. S. Citizenship required + 8570/8140 certification: Security+ Minimum of 7+ years of related experience + Demonstrated managerial skills + Must have strong oral and written communication skills + Strong relationship building and facilitation skills to communicate with stakeholders on all levels of the organization regarding product progress + Demonstrated experience and ability to analyze client requirements and recommend appropriate solutions and strategies. + Demonstrated ability to interact directly with senior leadership as well as with internal and external stakeholders. **Requirements:** + Must be able to obtain Secret Clearance **Our Equal Employment Opportunity Policy** The company is an equal opportunity employer.
