Key Responsibilities:
As a Base Maintenance Technical Planner, your primary responsibility will be overseeing heavy maintenance visits at internal and vendor facilities for our aircraft. This role involves crafting comprehensive work packages encompassing critical maintenance tasks and collaborating with key departments such as Materials, Tooling, and Engineering to ensure seamless operations, supporting stations during aircraft maintenance, and successful aircraft release. Additionally, this position entails conducting research and data analysis to identify optimization opportunities and innovative solutions. Candidates should possess problem-solving skills, an innovative mindset, and technical expertise.
Develop and deliver timely maintenance work packages within specified scope, budgeted labor hours, span, and cost for stations/fleetProvide maintenance station support and collaborate with Maintenance Programs, Engineering, Records, and other planning units to resolve issuesAdjust work packages as vital due to hangar plan alterations or additional/deleted tasksEffectively communicate and proactively update Production Control, Maintenance Representatives, Airframe Contracts, Methods and Standards, Logistics, Quality Control, and other planning entities regarding revisions, special requirements, workload adjustments, and deletions during base maintenance eventsAnalyze post-visit data to identify improvement opportunities for maintenance programs, scheduling, or visit workflowConduct regular, productive meetings with stations and stakeholders to plan upcoming maintenance visits and be responsible for ongoing visit progressUtilize data to recommend and implement improvements in Base Planning processesWork with Airframe Contracts, Engineering, Reliability, and Project Planning to capture key reliability projects in visit work scope while considering the impact of visit cost and span timeNOTE:This position is based at the CSC-Willis Tower, located in Chicago, IL, and is considered a hybrid work schedule, with three days in the office.

Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, Supply Chain/Logistics, Business, or related field) or equivalent in aircraft maintenance or maintenance planning experienceProficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and OutlookKnowledge of aircraft systems and maintenance programsStrong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levels and collaborate with internal and external partnersAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneously through effective prioritizationTravel: 10% of the timeLegally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorshipSuccessful completion of the interview processDiligent, punctual attendance is a critical function of the roleWhat will help you propel from the pack:
