This UK practice has a rare opening for a Technical Director in its London studio. The position will see you develop and lead a team of highly skilled architects and designers on significant projects of scale and complexity, that will in turn transform London’s skyline and design language.
This is an exciting opening for an experienced Architectural Technical Director to lead on large and exciting projects across the UK and beyond. In this role you will lead the delivery of a series of significant architecture and interior design projects. You will be responsible for setting the agenda regarding delivery processes, best practice, organisation across the practice while facilitating and championing innovation and research.
This significant practice would like to receive candidates from diverse experience backgrounds. You will need to have assembled a portfolio showcasing ‘architectural delivery excellence’ of acclaimed architectural projects. Sectors would ideally include experience across commercial, hospitality, tall buildings, sports and interior fitout. The role may require travel predominantly to service projects and build client relationships across the UK. The remuneration package is strong and aligned with the role as a senior practice leader. Key responsibilities
•    Drive technical delivery excellence across the practice.
•    Manage several projects and teams concurrently.
•    To work within the senior leadership team across the practice.
•    Be responsible for fees/resourcing/practice management duties.
•    Client engagement, managing large groups of stake holders.

Skills and experience
•    Fully qualified architect with Part III.
•    Experience running large projects and teams.
•    Servicing large & interesting clients and winning significant work.
•    Excellent communication skills and proven experience of mentoring and developing your team.
