About This Role
The Technical Devices Manager (TDM) is responsible for the overall management and coordination of CAE resources, maintenance personnel training & development, supply support operations, budget and operational maintenance requirements of the training devices, across all sites under their control.
The TDM will ensure the training devices under their control are maintained and serviced in accordance with regulatory requirements and certifications. They will also make sure the devices, technical dossiers and applicable reporting requirements are prepared and compliant during all regulatory certification checks.
This role will be located in Whenuapai, Auckland.
The role we are offering you
+ Drive and maintain maintenance efficiency balancing productivity, quality and safety in the optimum manner
+ Ensure CAE meets customer expectations in the successful initial training device regulatory qualification, subsequent requalification’s whilst ensuring the device is active at all requested times
+ Promote and execute CAE’s EHS Management system
+ Deliver and regularly update management information and metrics to enable fact-based decision making.
Our ideal candidate has:
+ Proven leadership experience
+ Knowledge of and ability to convey EHS requirements
+ Ideally with simulation and/or Defence experience
+ C-130 aircraft experience will be looked upon favourably

Security requirements
As the NZ Department of Defence is a major client, you must be eligible for SECRET (NV1) level Defence security clearance, and preferably already hold a current SECRET (NV1) clearance.
