The Technical Delivery Manager will be a servant leader and coach, guiding and supporting agile development teams to deliver high-quality software solutions in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. You are passionate about technology and possess a strong understanding of Agile methodologies, DevOps principles, and Cloud technologies. You are as comfortable leading teams as you are diving into the technical details and contributing to the hands-on work when needed.
What you’ll do…
Lead and mentor agile development teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and high performance.
Ensure the team adheres to agile principles and practices.
Collaborate closely with Product Owners to define project scope, create user stories, and prioritize the backlog.
Identify and manage project risks, dependencies, and impediments to ensure on-time and on-budget delivery.
Champion DevOps practices and drive the adoption of automation tools and processes for continuous integration, continuous delivery, and infrastructure as code.
Work closely with architects and engineers to design and implement scalable and reliable cloud-based solutions consistent with Progyny’s overall technical standards
Monitor team performance, identify areas for improvement, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Be a hands-on contributor when needed, assisting with technical tasks, troubleshooting issues, and providing guidance to the team.
Leverage critical thinking and systems thinking to ensure teams are solving the right problems and they are solving them the right way
Foster a culture of learning and knowledge sharing within the team and across the organization.
About you…
8+ years of experience as a Technical Delivery Manager or similar role, leading agile development teams.
Proven track record of successfully delivering software projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Deep understanding of DevOps principles and experience implementing CI/CD pipelines.
Strong knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) and experience with cloud-based development and deployment.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills with the ability to influence and motivate teams.
Experience with Jira, Confluence, and other agile project management tools.
Experience with Python, AWS, Salesforce preferred.
Experience in Healthcare domain and associated compliance mandates (HIPAA, HITRUST) is a plus

In compliance with New York City's Wage Transparency Law, the annual salary [wage] range for NYC-based applicants is: $190,000 - $200,000. There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. Progyny offers a total compensation package comprised of base salary, cash bonus, and equity.
