Kforce is working with a well-known CPG client in search of a Technical Data Engineering Lead to join their team. This position is full time, direct hire, and hybrid on-site in mid-town 1-2 days a week. Summary: As the Technical Data Engineering Lead, you will be a key leader responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the data infrastructure and architecture that supports the organization's data analytics and insights initiatives. This hands-on role will drive the transformation of the company's data platform, defining standards, implementing a modern data stack, and operating model to enable efficient data ingestion, transformation, and modeling. The Technical data lead will work closely with the Senior Director of Data Analytics and Functional Data Lead to ensure the data foundation enables the development of reporting and analytical tools that drive business performance and decision-making. Roles and Responsibilities: Data Architecture and Strategy: * Define the data architecture and engineering strategy to support the company's data and analytics roadmap, aligning with best practices and industry standards * Establish data engineering standards, practices, and governance policies to promote reusability, maintainability, and scalability of the data platform in collaboration with global data team * Evaluate and implement new data technologies, tools, and techniques to continuously enhance the capabilities of the data platform Data Platform Development and Management: * Lead the design and implementation of a new, scalable data platform leveraging the Azure Analytics stack (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Azure Data Lake Storage) * Oversee the development of reliable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and model data from various sources, ensuring data quality, security, and consistency * Handle Data Ingestion projects in Azure environment from various third-party sources
