Role/ Department:
As part of the Ireland Investor AML Operations team, the role requires the completion of a workload, with guidance from colleagues and line management, to support all aspects of AML of investors in line with AML Legislation/Regulation & Guidance/Best Practice. The Ireland Investor AML Department’s processes and procedures. In addition, the role requires partners to hold, build and maintain strong relationships with the Northern Trust Transfer Agency and Client Services Departments, as well as other key stakeholders, to deliver a robust AML service to Northern Trust’s client and investor base
The key responsibilities of the role include:
To serve as a key subject matter expert and mentor to other more junior level employeesReview the work of others and work on any subsequent training and development plansResponds to internal and external inquiries related to Anti Money Laundering requirements for investorsReview of procedural requirements and recommend appropriate procedural changes where applicableParticipates in developing training material and lead training partners within the department.May have direct interaction with committees and/or Senior ManagementResolves problems, identifies the most appropriate solution and may establish new techniques to ensure the team is able to meet its objectives • Has direct impact, on the quality of the tasks performed or services provided by the teamSkills/ Qualifications:

Excellent oral and written communication skills are required to be able to communicate with all partnersTechnical skills / systems knowledge (e.g. Microsoft and Peoplesoft) is preferredKnowledge of applicable laws and regulations acquired through formal education or experience.
