Please note that this position will be supporting the US region and therefore, working US hours (2:30pm- 11pm SA time and until 12pm during daylight saving)
Position Overview
As a Technical Consultant at MRI Software, your role is to be an expert at understanding MRI Software's data. We expect you to aid various teams in drawing insight from our data. This includes working with clients to create dashboards, visualizations, algorithms, reports, and business tools for use across the organization. RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with clients to understand their needs.
Understanding your business stakeholders’ objectives, the metrics that are the most important to them, and how they measure their performance
Turning business requirements into technical requirements and documented specifications
Finding and understanding the correct and best data sources for a given analysis.
Selecting and implementing the right analytical toolset for each deliverable, which may include SQL or other home-grown data structures and tools
Presenting solutions to stakeholders (non-technical audiences) and soliciting constructive feedback
Providing ongoing support to deployed solutions and iterating to adapt to evolving requirements and ecosystems
Learning from, and sharing knowledge and skills with your teammates to grow Analytics’ total impact on the organization
Complete data conversions from source software’s to various MRI products.
Convert current integration processes to a more current methodology.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate has some consulting experience as well as an understanding of the real estate, facilities or workplace management domains. They have excellent written and communication skills, is driven to solve customer business challenges, and flexible to work and support across regions globally.
Demonstrated ability to learn software and new technologies
Basic knowledge of SQL Database
Basic knowledge of SSIS
Basic knowledge of an ETL Tool
Understanding of application development, testing & certification
Strong business acumen, high energy, self-motivated and ability to work under pressure.
Excellent organization skills and proven ability to multi-task.
Good presentation, written and oral communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced, team oriented environment.
Flexible working hours
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
Previous experience in customer/client service or consulting is helpful
